The Parker Family

This was such a fun session, with Brandon and his family who were on their holidays from the States for the Christmas period and Hogmanay. Brandon works in the UK regularly and so is away from his family for a lot of the time. He couldn't get home for Thanksgiving, so his work paid for his family to come over to Scotland's capital for Christmas in return. (how very nice of them) We met on Carlton Hill a couple of days after Christmas on a not too chilly day, as December days go. (I didn't feel so bad about the chocolate dessert consumed the night before after climbing the steep steps up to the top....) It wasn't long before I could see a procession of Scotland Pom Pom hats coming towards me. These guys couldn't disguise the fact that they were on holiday and enjoying every minute! Loved it.
