A Braco Gathering

I was delighted to photograph this family in September last year, albeit on a very windy day! What a wonderful house up in Braco, Perthshire, owned by a very lucky set of grandparents. Very lucky because, not only a lovely house and garden but this was the first time the family had been together since their 6 month old grand-daughters had been born. One lives in Australia, and the other lives in England and it was also the first time they had set eyes on each other! Born just a few days apart. So a very special occasion indeed for David and Helen to welcome home their two sons and their families. The babies were so well behaved and sported some adoring smiles and I couldn't have asked for more. They were also delighted with the framed wall portrait which will now grace their walls. An event that will be remembered fondly for many years to come. Brings a tear to my eye..!
