A Get Together at Lauriston Castle

I do love Lauriston Castle in Edinburgh. It's got a bit of everything - gorgeous views over the Forth, the castle, beautiful trees amidst wide open spaces and even a Japanese garden! I met Alex and Aileen Cadenhead here together with their daughters Iona and Stef with their families in tow. It was lovely to see 3 generations having a great afternoon together. The session was a gift for Aileen from her daughters and what great memories to cherish! Iona is a friend from up in Kingussie whom I don't see that often, so it was nice to see her and husband Stuart with their two boys. Last time I looked they were very much boys, but all of a sudden they are taller than their mum! Sorry Iona..but it's true :-)
