Lost in the Woods

I was spending the morning in the beautifully sunny Gosford Estate in East Lothian with Sarah, her 4 year old son, and 2 year old daughter. We were heading for the pond which wasn't far away but somehow we managed to take a wrong turning and ended up taking the long way round... It didn't really matter because it was a gorgeous day and a pleasant woodland walk. We did find it eventually after asking a couple of helpful passers by but I did feel a bit sorry for 4 year old Cash who was a little tired to say the least. I think the phrases 'not long now' and 'where was the Gruffalo' were wearing a bit thin... Some strawberries and a cold drink made up for it though!
