When the Tiger Came to Tea

'When the Tiger Came to Tea' was the theme for little Ailsa's first birthday photoshoot at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens on a showery, late summer afternoon. I was very impressed with all the props her mother, Eve had supplied, including knitted cakes and goodies plus, the Tiger of course! He looked very happy sat amongst the meadow flowers with Ailsa for company. We hovered around in the glass houses for a short while hoping the clouds and rain would clear but before long the sun peeped through and we had a glorious afternoon. Thank goodness, as 2 hours in a hot house would have been a bit much... Everyone had a good time and we felt extremely lucky that the weather had been so kind. (The heavens opened shortly after we finished...)
